Coaching Session | Anna Grace Photography
I don’t really know how to begin this post. I went out on a limb a couple weeks back and contacted a photographer whose work I admire to see if she would do a coaching session with me. Well Anna Grace did way more than just “coach” me. This wonderful photographer helped guide me down the path I’m taking with my photography. What makes Anna Grace so special isn’t just her pictures or what she says to you but how supportive she is. When I am passionate about something, I go at it full force with boundless energy and excitement. She reminded me “to keep grace.” I interpreted this to be, whatever will be, will be, in good time. She took the time to share as much as she possibly could about the profession, her passion and advice for me. Anna Grace’s words certainly resonated with me, and I hope to one day pay it forward, and help a young photographer, the way she did for me.
Today we were celebrating the wedding anniversary of Anna Grace’s models dear friends, Claire & Tyler. It can be intimidating meeting new people, but these two made it so easy on me, welcomed me. It’s so easy to see they were made for each other (cliche I know, but true). When they looked into one another’s eyes, the emotion there was so honest (even after holding the pose for 15 seconds!)
Today was really such a joy, and I’m sad that it’s over. I had been looking forward to it for awhile. I feel very fulfilled and excited for the future, but I will heed Anna Grace’s advice and reminder to be patient (I think we all could use a little patience to be honest).
“I fall in love with people’s passion, the way their eyes light up when they talk about the thing they love & they way they fill with light.”
