Morgan | Senior

Guys. It is SO weird to be writing this blog post! Morgan is one of my sister's best friends and I've known her since they were in KINDERGARTEN. She just graduated from Towson University (Go Tigers!) and I had the best time photographing her at one of her favorite places in the world!

Morgan has rode horses for as long as I can remember and she joined a barn while in school where she would ride frequently during the week. It was a huge part of her college life, so it made sense to do her senior session there!

Morgan will be starting occupational therapy school in the fall! (Which my PT heart LOVES).

Morgan, its been such a pleasure watching you and Amanda grow up together and I look forward to seeing your career in OT flourish! Congratulations!

Amanda | Senior Session

"Don't be delicate. Be vast and brilliant."

My littlest sister is graduating undergrad in one, very short month! When we decided to do her photos, she mentioned to me that she wanted to include the family dog, Luke. Amanda has a special (albeit, allergic) relationship with animals. They just flock to her. I don't get it. Anyways, when she said she wanted to include Lukie, I was not surprised.
I have photographed a 6month old, golden retriever puppy, who was FAR more obedient than our elderly Luke. Nonetheless, we had quite a giggle trying to get our teeth-missing, spazzy, twitchy, loveably Lukie to sit for photos.
Amanda, Manda-Panda, I'm so proud of you! You've worked incredibly hard over these last 4 years to achieve your goals, all while balancing work, intramural sports, CHAARG, your relationship with Mike, and of course your family & friends. Writing it all down makes me feel exhausted just looking at it and I didn't do anything!  We have had many conversations about not feeling ready for the things to come, well let me tell you sissy, you ARE. And you will handle it with as much grace, enthusiasm and fantastic humor as you always have.

And never forget your good pal, Dumbledore.
"It is our choices that show us what we truly are, far more than our abilities."

Abby | Senior Portraits

Long before I was a "photographer" my sisters were my subjects. I'm happy to report that they still trust me, although my work has grown greatly! My sister, Abby, is graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park in a few short weeks. Her next step is nursing school (A whole family of medical practitioners I tell ya) for which I know she will be just as successful, if not more. These are some of the images from her Senior Session!

Abby has a big heart which will translate well for all her future patients. I'm just glad she decided to go the route she did. When she was little she considered being a grocery store clerk. Not that this isn't an important profession, but Abby thought she got to keep all the money in her cash register. So had she gone the grocery store route, she maybe would have ended in jail. I DIGRESS.

I'm so proud of all your hard work, Abs. It's certainly been a long 4 years. Nursing school will be hard too, but I know you are prepared for it! Enjoy this time, celebrate all your accomplishments!

And remember...

"Oh the places you will go..."
